The vehicle return timeline will help make your lease-end experience simple and smooth.
90 Days: Research
Choose your lease-end option.
- Lease or Purchase a new Polestar.
Now is the perfect time to start thinking about your next Polestar. Explore new models or schedule a test drive at your Polestar Space. - Purchase your current Polestar.
Within 15 days of your lease maturity date, request a payoff quote by logging in to your Polestar Financial Services online account or by calling 1-855-537-3339. - Call 1-855-537-3339 to discuss all your options.
60 Days: Inspection
To help determine any excess wear, we’ll perform a complimentary vehicle inspection.
- Appointment
You will be contacted to schedule a complimentary vehicle inspection at a time and place most convenient for you.* - Location
You can have your vehicle inspected at your home, office or any other location that is convenient for you. - Repairs
If your inspection report indicates repairs are necessary, you can schedule most repairs with your Polestar Space. Make sure to keep all receipts to confirm repairs were completed.
*The inspector will provide a detailed estimate of any excess wear and use charges, which may be helpful as you consider your end-of-lease options. Retain receipts for all repairs made to items listed on the inspection report.
30 Days: Turn-In Appointment

Contact your Polestar Space to schedule your turn-in appointment. - Turn-In Appointment
When you turn in your vehicle, make sure to return all keys, key fobs, owner's manual, spare tire and tire sealant kit to your Polestar Space.
End
- Repairs
If you made any repairs to your Polestar after your inspection, notify your Polestar Space when you return your vehicle. Please provide copies of the repair receipts and include your VIN number and account number on each copy. - Call
At your turn-in appointment you will complete and receive a vehicle return notification as well as an odometer statement. Within 24 hours after vehicle turn-in, call Polestar Financial Services at 1-877-272-7774 to confirm the vehicle was turned in and the final mileage documented. - End-of-term payments
You may receive an invoice for any end-of-term and excess wear and use charges after your vehicle return. Learn more about Excess Wear and Use.
